This is hands down the most stupid and dangerous thing I've seen a tourist do in Iceland. This guy hopped over the railing at the top of Skogafoss and climbed down the wet and slippery grass slope to the edge of the nearly 200' (60 m) waterfall to take some pictures. When I confronted the idiot his response was that he "lives for that". He has complete disregard for his safety, the people who would watch him fall to his death, the rescuers that would need to retrieve his body, and his family and friends. Truly sad, and a shining example of the worst kind of tourist to visit Iceland. Iceland is not your playground, do not try it like it is.
