The land was rough—dusty roads, cracked stone houses, and people who had learned to live with little. Most families worked the fields or traded scraps just to get by. PSN came from one of the poorest huts on the edge of the village, where the wind slipped through the wooden boards at night and meals were never guaranteed. But PSN had something most people in Kanos didn’t. Relentless will. From the time he was young, he watched the village rangers train in the open courtyard—warriors who protected Kanos from beasts, raiders, and monsters that roamed beyond the valley. They moved with speed and power that seemed impossible to him back then. While other kids watched in awe, PSN studied them. Every step. Every swing. Every mistake. He didn’t have proper gear. His first bow was made from a bent tree branch and frayed rope. His arrows were crooked sticks he sharpened with a rusted knife. When he trained, people laughed. “Kid from the dirt thinks he can become a ranger,” they said. PSN didn’t answer them. He just trained harder. Before sunrise he ran the mountain trails. During the day he worked for scraps of food. At night he practiced until his hands bled and his legs trembled. Slowly, the weak boy from the edge of the village began to change. Faster. Stronger. Sharper. But PSN had a problem—he refused to fight people at his level. Instead, he challenged warriors stronger than him. Much stronger. Again and again he stepped into battles he wasn’t supposed to survive. Rangers who had trained for years towered over him in skill and experience. Most of the time he lost. Some fights ended with him bruised and barely able to stand. Yet every loss gave him something. Knowledge. Timing. Pain that hardened his resolve. Word began spreading through Kanos about the stubborn ranger who fought like he had nothing to lose. The villagers stopped laughing. Some even began to watch. One night after a brutal fight against a high-ranked warrior, PSN lay on the ground staring at the stars above the village. His body ached. His level was still lower than most of the fighters he faced. But deep down he could feel something changing. Each fight was forging him. Each loss was sharpening him. He clenched his fists and stood back up. “I’m not staying weak forever,” he said quietly to himself. One day the village of Kanos would know his name—not as the poor boy from the outskirts… …but as one of the strongest rangers it had ever seen. And PSN was just getting started.
