How to use a pressure cooker? (Baked Potato)

Ingredients & Equipment: 1 pressure cooker water 4 medium Idaho Potatoes Directions: 1. Turn on the stove and place cooker without the lid on the stove. 2. Add the steel plate inside the cooker. 3. Add 1-3 cups of water until the plate is slightly submerged. Water varies depending on the size of the cooker and the density of the food. This is a 4 Litre (slightly more than 4 quarts) sized cooker and 4 medium potatoes are being cooked. 4. Place 4 whole rinsed Idaho Potatoes on the plate. Make sure the potatoes are as similar in size as possible to ensure even cooking. 5. Place the lid on the sealing ring to line up arrows. Turn lid clockwise to lock the lid in place. 6. Cook for the appropriate amount of time. (3 whistles or 12 minutes on medium high heat). 7. Turn off the stove and wait for the pressure to release. Caution: wait for the pressure to release before opening lid (jostle the "weight" with a spoon to see if the pressure is still there--no sound or moisture being released from the nozzle lid means no pressure). Usually takes about 5-10 minutes or longer depending on the size. 8. Turn lid counter-clockwise to open. 9. Remove potatoes and wait till it cools enough to handle. Peel potatoes and use as needed for your recipes. Notes: The plate prevents the food from getting soggy. You can also put the potatoes in a steel bowl that can sit on the place in the cooker but still allows the lid to be locked in place.
