ShareGrid Review: How to Make Money Renting Your Camera

How's it going fellow investors! In this side hustle review video, we take a look to see all the pros and cons of renting out your camera and camera equipment in order to make extra side money. I've heard people online renting their DSLR camera and lens and getting $1000-2500 a month with doing very little work! I wanted to test this out myself, so started renting my GoPro action camera, DJI Mavic 4k drone, and my GoPro Fusion 360 camera. Check out the video to see how much money I've made over the last year and my overall thoughts on if I'd recommend renting your personal cameras and camera gear to make some good side money or if it's not worth your time. There are several websites out there at allow you to list your personal camera gear in order to rent it out to other people. The services are comparable to airbnb, but instead of renting your personal house or room it's your camera equipment. I ended up going with ShareGrid platform since it appeared quite a bit when I'd google camera rental equipment. Overall I had about 15 or so people rent my cameras and drone. In total I've had two renters either break or lose my cameras. On both incidence I had to open a case with insurance through ShareGrid in order to get a new camera. Overall the platform is pretty easy to use, insurance has always paid me for lost of cameras (even though it does take some time), and overall had a positive experience.
