Determined to reunite his family, Popeye sets sail to bring his father back home. Upon arrival, Popeye discovers that Pappy is reluctant to leave his newfound kingdom and resists Popeye's attempts to persuade him. The situation escalates when the island's inhabitants capture Popeye, planning to cook him. Witnessing his son's peril, Pappy has a change of heart.
