Mortal Kombat Reconciliation Sprite Animation Part 6 | Cyber Initiative | This video was ten days late, but finally uploaded. The last few scenes took longer than expected, and I didn't want to rush things. As most people know, Part 6 was originally the second half of Part 5, but I couldn't fit all of these scenes into one video. This ended up being a good thing because I had more time/freedom to expand all the scene in both videos. Typically each of my videos have a different theme to them, but since this is the second half of Part 5, it really does feel like the same video. Smoke and Frost are rushing back to the Lin Kuei temple to warn their Grand Master about Cyrax and the Black Dragon Clan (Part 5). Sub-Zero is also returning to report the death of his brother by the hands of Scorpion (Part 3). This is the Cyborg chapter of the series, and all of these videos are building up to one epic moment. It took a while to build the Lin Kuei temple. I used bits and pieces of other maps and put everything into place like a puzzle. The floor and pillars are from Shang Tsung's thone in MK1; the walls and doors are from The Deadpool in MK2; the bridges are from The Pit in MK1, and the roof is from The Courtyard in MK1. I wanted the temple to be mostly ice and gold. I mashed together different sprites from Sonic The Hedgehog and Megaman 10 to create the snowfields. The underwater mechanics were a bit tricky, and maybe a slight waste of time since the underwater scene only lasted about 20 seconds. I upgraded some things while making this video... I now have all sound effects from Mortal Kombat Trilogy and they are very high quality, and I downloaded some .mogg files from will allow me to completely remaster all music with ease.
