Small eardrum retraction pocket discovered behind wax and dead skin (eustachian tube dysfunction)

In this video we see a large amount of dead skin occluding the ear canal, causing hearing loss and a feeling of fullness according to the patient. The debris was easily cleared with routine suction to reveal an intact tympanic membrane (eardrum) and the patient reported greatly improved hearing without any tinnitus, dizziness or pain. There is a very small, shallow retraction pocket in the pars flaccida region of the eardrum due to a negative pressure in the middle ear space (mostly likely due to wider sinus inflammation).
