Download photos - https://proko.com/856 As an artist, it's important to explore value relationships by simplifying images into two or three values. Start with Notan drawings using two values, assigning areas to light or dark. With three values, add a mid-tone for in-between areas. Do thumbnail studies of master paintings, focusing on major value groups. If you're more advanced, set up and photograph your own still life for value studies, simplifying details yourself. Remember, the goal is to practice simplifying values, not to create detailed drawings. Want more projects like this?
