ASTRIAL: C3I/IMS Platform – Empowering Emergency Response with the SYNERGISE project.

In the SYNERGISE project, the technical coordinator ASTRIAL is developing an advanced C3I/IMS platform to revolutionize how emergency responders operate in disaster situations. This platform integrates data from robots, wearables, AR devices, and mobile sensors to provide a complete and real-time view of the emergency environment. ASTRIAL’s C3I/IMS will create a unified operational picture, using 2D and 3D maps that visualize critical information—such as team assignments, personnel vitals, threat alerts, and resource management. It enhances communication across the chain of command, helping teams respond faster and more effectively while simplifying complex data into clear, actionable insights. By connecting and streamlining all technological components of the SYNERGISE system, including legacy systems, ASTRIAL’s work ensures that emergency teams can focus on what matters most: saving lives. The project is jointly funded from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme; State Secretariat for Education, Research, and Innovation from Switzerland; the Japan Science and Technology Agency; the Korea Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute.
