The Paternoster Lakes, Mt. Brandon & Brandon Peak - Hiking the Dingle Peninsula | Ireland

Spectacular hike up thru the Paternoster Lakes taking in Mount Brandon, Brandon Peak and Gearhane. A few things to note: This is a pretty serious hike. Going up thru the lakes is tough going. I used the Adrian Hendroff Walking Guide for Dingle for the lakes section, it was invaluable due to the nature of the terrain. Please do not use the route I took coming off Gearhane. The underfoot conditions were pretty horrendous, with heather, rocks and very uneven ground. I would recommend going to Mullach Bheal, which I pointed out, and coming down the zig zag road into the valley.
