Bible Verses to Build Faith | Verses on Faith | Listen While You Sleep Romans 10:17 says, 'So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.' Jesus talks about faith as small as a mustard seed. The first part of Romans 1 verse 17 says 'For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:' Which gives us the idea that faith can and should grow. And finally in Jude 1 verse 20, Jude after telling us to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints in Jude 1 verse 3, then exhorts us to build ourselves up in the most holy faith. And 1Peter 1 verse 7 tells us that this faith is more precious than gold that perishes! We can grow our faith in two ways. One is by mediating in the promises of God, that is muttering the Word to ourselves so that our spirit hears and faith is produced. The other way is to listen to the Word being read with our spirits opened wide to hear the Word that will produce faith.
