VLOG 57: Sentinel, Roosevelt & Taft Trail Loop (Yosemite National Park)

Today we're hiking to Sentinel Dome, Roosevelt Point, and Taft Point along a trail with panoramic views of Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, and the Yosemite Valley below. This loop is far less traveled than most trails in Yosemite National Park, so come join me! This week Yosemite National Park celebrates its 130th birthday as the 3rd park to join the National Parks System on October 1st, 1890. So this week it's fitting to share with you one of my favorite spots in all of Yosemite. Most people pick either Sentinel Dome or Taft Point to hike along Glacier Point Road, but if you combine them for a full loop you can explore some of the Pohono Trail, and one of the most quiet, unspoiled spots in Yosemite. Roosevelt Point is one of the lesser visited spots in Yosemite because most people are more familiar with Taft and Sentinel. However, this spot will give you unparalleled views of Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, and Half Dome without the crowds. Join me today for this amazing hike over 3,000 feet above the valley rim.
