The Yankee Farmers are feeding the beef cows today [and every other day] on the farm. We use a vertical mixer wagon to create a Total Mixed Ration that we feed in various batches to our Angus cattle. Our cows diet's are specially formulated by a bovine nutritionist to match their individual needs. The Yankee Farmers - we welcome you to farming in New York! We run a Black Angus beef herd and we farm 1000 acres of crops; partially to feed our beef cattle and partially for marketable commodity crops. If we aren't raising beef cows or crop farming, we may be doing some custom harvesting or hay baling. We also own a large maple tree sugarbush from which we produce 100% pure maple syrup every year!
