This song was sang by Khan saab in 1997, he was very ill when he sang this but continued to sing beautifully as he normally did. This song was for the movie ‘ Kaache Daage ‘ but I’m sure Hans Raaj sang this. Maybe Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan saab was originally suppose to sing it but he passed away unfortunately before the movie even came out, ( 1999 ) And they probably never recordersd a studio version of this with Khan saab, because this was sang live I’m presuming in India probably.
