Ballyconnell Road - Stunning 3mm Irish Model Railway!

An Irish model railway created in 3mm Finescale... what's not to love? Bonus Content:    / @thatmodelrailwayguy   MERCH: https://shop.thatmodelrailwayguy.com I have to admit I know very little about Irish railways and even less about their model counterparts, however Ballyconnell Road is certainly a layout I can appreciate even without much understanding of the prototype it aims to recreate. For starters, the layout is circular which takes the track on a long sweeping curve around the scenic side, giving the impression that it carries on forever. This is matched by the road behind the railway, which you'll notice even has vans and buses driving along it! Then there's the fact that Ballyconnell Road is modelled in 3mm Finescale. Sitting nicely between 00 and N Gauge, I would guess practically everything on this layout is scratch built or at least kit built to very high standards... you'd never know though. The standard of modelling on this layout is incredibly high and the locomotives and rolling stock run beautifully. If you ever come across this stunning 3mm finescale layout at an exhibition it's definitely worth a look! Thanks for watching 😃
