Finishing a Forest Trail with the Echo CS-4920 | Winter Forestry

In this video I continue clearing a small forest trail that I started earlier. (Link to the previous video:    • Back to the Forest | Winter Chainsaw Work  ) This time I’m using the Echo CS-4920, working in calm winter conditions with light snow and around –10°C – perfect weather for forestry work. Working in a dense forest brings its own challenges. Not a single tree fell cleanly without getting hung up. Luckily, the trees were fairly small, so they were easy to push or pull down and continue working. I had a limited amount of time, so two trees are left for a future session. The path will also need to be driven through and widened where necessary. That said, the trail is now almost finished. The video starts with me taking off my jacket and getting to work, and ends with a ride back to the shed on the ATV – pure work.
