The stupendous shiraz is a lip smacking full bodied shiraz partially matured in French oak barrels and is on the bolder side of what a shiraz can be. Today was a warm day so I served it chilled and let it warm up a little to get some of the tannins. From Langhorne Creek SA, you get a little more of that smooth and well-integrated approachable velvety texture. Overall a fantastic drop you can pick up for a decent price.
