430 MEL Engine Teardown, Part 1

In this video, we begin tearing down out 1958 Lincoln 430. This engine was in terrible shape; the valley pan and valve covers were rusted out, rust was built up in the valley and rocker assemblies, multiple cylinders were seized (rust was built up in cylinder #5), rockers were seized, and we still can't get the distributor off. But shockingly, bolts were easily removed, and some other pleasant surprises were uncovered as we dug deeper. This engine just might run again!
