Man shoots suspect during attempted jugging after leaving gun range in SW Houston

Houston police are investigating a shootout that left one suspect injured after an attempted jugging near a gun range in southwest Houston. According to the Houston Police Department, officers were called to the 5300 block of Rampart around the South Gessner area after reports of a shooting.  Investigators say an adult male had just left a nearby gun range and was driving home when he was followed by three suspects.
