Rally Project: Tamiya TL01 RA Rebuild / Upgrade Series - Episode 1

And so it begins. This is the first project series on this channel. I've owned this Tamiya TL01 RA for over 6 years. It ran on the stock motor for around 2 years, then it was uprated to a Corally 27 turn motor. This car has not been maintained and no parts have been changed or replaced since it was built. I've really enjoyed running this car and have had very few issues with it. But after all these years and getting back into the hobby, I felt that this was a great place to start playing around with shiny new bits. The shiny bits are: Absima CR3P 2.4GHz 3 Channel Radio + Receiver Topcad Aluminum Oil Shocks Full ball bearing set Ansmann metal geared, waterproof servo Alloy servo mounts Aluminium Pinion Gear/ Motor Mount Cover Yeah Racing Aluminium Hex Adapters Marine Grease + Plastidip (not so shiny) This was my first time recording so there some mistakes like my head and hands getting in the way of the camera sometimes. I was also quite nervous on camera but my confidence is getting better all the time, and there is dialogue in the whole of episode 4 and 5.
