Vanishing Point - 26th August 1999 Early Intro FMV

I am proud to present a VERY early version of the intro FMV from the PS1 and Dreamcast racing game Vanishing Point! Sourced from a press disc for the game I acquired, this video dates back to 26th August 1999 over 15 months before the final build and features a BMW Z3 in place of the Lotus Elise seen in the available prototypes and final game (the Z3 was cut entirely from the game most likely due to EA gaining exclusive rights to M and Z badged BMW's for a while). Additional differences between this version and the final FMV include no BGM, a missing traffic car, some missing visual effects like tyre smoke from the Dodge Viper or dust from the Mini crashing, an incomplete sfx mix (most noticeable during the Tanker tipping over and the explosion), and an early logo for the game displayed at the very end. As is the video file has some encoding issues which causes it to glitch at specific moments, so for this upload I rerendered it in 1080P which fixed the bugs and should help it fend off YouTube's horrendous compression (not that the source file looks particularly good).
