Nkanyeziyethu is also the Co-Founder of uMakoti the Royal Bride Exhibition, a show created to celebrate the beauty and elegance of African women. Recently the designer curated a fashion exhibition known as Umtshado KaMbulumakhasane, which is based on an indigenous folktale and also started the Vikela iCovid-19, a project that teaches rural women and girls on how to make masks and share knowledge and skills about the pandemic. In this documentary we get to talk about her upbringing, her twin sister, falling in love with fashion, her love for Kwaito music and what brought about the idea of Umtshado KaMbulumakhasane.
