Weekly Wrap Up: #11, 2025 - Spring has sprung, cleaning has begun, + chicken area is almost done!

We got a cold snap this week but the garden is continuing to wake up for this growing season. Most of the orchard trees are showing signs of bud break so I'm pretty sure they are all alive, which is always something I worry about when I buy and plant dormant things. Flowers and weeds are coming up all over the yard so I'm trying to identify what I can to determine whether or not I'd like to keep it in the garden. The primary chicken enclosure is almost finished. There's just a few more loose ends and then we need to double check the whole thing just to make sure we haven't missed anything obvious. The main door is the weakest point so we're planning to reinforce that with another shorter gate as well. More mulch got laid down up near the wood storage and I'm looking forward to actually planting some stuff out in the ground very soon - maybe even this week! ***** Music: Walk Musician: @iksonmusic
