Hello and welcome back to the Arable Water onboarding series. In this video, we’ll take a closer look at how you can use Arable Water’s daily imagery to track crop emergence and better understand what’s happening in your fields — all without stepping foot outside. With the Arable Water mobile or web app, each field is equipped with a daily image feed captured by the Arable Mark sensor. From the Field Details page, you can open the image viewer and scroll through day-by-day photos to visually track changes in the crop canopy over time. This is especially helpful during emergence, when timing is critical. By comparing daily images, you can confirm when plants start to break the surface and monitor uniformity of emergence across the field. This helps you detect potential issues early — like poor seed-to-soil contact, crusting, or delayed emergence in low spots. Combined with field-level data like rainfall, temperature, and evapotranspiration the imagery helps you connect what you see with the underlying conditions — giving you more confidence in your in-season decisions. So whether you're scouting emergence from your truck or your office, Arable Water gives you a visual and data-driven lens to make faster, more informed decisions.
