Swami Shree Chaitanyaswarup embraced the Bhakti Marg right from his childhood and it was through his passion for music that he sought his path to self-actualization. Emulating his Guru Swami Shreevallabhdasji he chose to lead an ascetic life and took up Hindustani music as a lifelong endeavor. Initially he was trained with Haveli Sangeetkar Shri Vithaldas Bapodra at Junagadh under whose guidance he completed Sangeet Visharad from the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. Thereafter he was fortunate to get associated with Swami Shreevallabhdas, a disciple of Aftab--E--Mousiqui Ustad Faiyaz Hussain Khan of Agra Gharana, with whom he trained under the traditional Guru--Shishya Parampara and also the deeper spiritual enlightenment in the Bhakti Marg of Swaminarayan Sampradaya. After Swami Shreevallabhdas breathed his last in 1972, Swami Chaitanyaswarup picked up the threads of his training again and learnt in the guru -- shishya parampara under one of the most acclaimed musicians of India, Pt.K.G.Ginde, who was then the Principal of Shreevallabh Sangeetalaya. After the untimely demise of Pt.K.G.Ginde, Swamiji continued his training in music in the same parampara under Pt. S.C.R.Bhat. Having learnt the nuances and subtleties of Khayal Gayaki in great depth from his gurus, Swami Chaitnayaswarup has added a touch of his own to the tradition. His creative genius, and an amazing command over tones and pitch have lent his voice a unique emotional appeal. His presentations take listeners to a different spiritual level through his voice that is extremely expressive and sonorous. He has recorded professionally and has to his credit quite a few albums. He has also presented to several international audiences and has been continuing to do so over the last few years. His Guru Sangeet Sudhakar Poojya Swami Shreevallabhdasji was one of the greatest world renowned exponents of Indian classical music who made music as his mission. With a keen desire to serve the society and to spread the message of the Almighty through music to the humanity at large, he established Shreevallabh Shikshan Sangeet Ashram, in 1950 a registered Public Trust in Mumbai. The vision of this institution is to provide modern education based on rich Indian tradition and to propagate Indian culture through fine arts. This Trust presently manages Shreevallabh Vividhlakshi Vidyalaya, Shreevallabh Ashram English Medium School, Shreevallabh Sangeetalaya, an Academy for Indian Classical Music & Dance and Shreevallabh Yoga Pratisthan. Out of deep reverence to his Guru, Swami Chaitanyaswarup dedicated his entire life as a moral binding and obligation for continuing his Guru's mission in propagating Education and Culture through Shreevallabh Sikshan Sangeet Ashram in Mumbai of which he is one of the Trustees. It was a long cherished desire of Poojya Swami Shreevallabhdasji of an institution imparting modern education with an experience of rich Indian culture to the children from India and aboard in an ambiance. Along with his visionary and senior guru bandhu Swami Shri Hariprasaddas (Managing Trustee), Swami Chaitanyaswarup established an International Education and Cultural Centre at Killa Pardi in Gujarat State in 1977. This sprawling campus houses M G M Amin & V. N. Savani School, Boys Hostel, M L M Patel Balmandir run by Shreevallabh Shikshan Sangeet Ashram and Shreevallabh Seva Kendra, http://www.vallabhonline.org.
