Fanna-Fi-Allah presents a heartfelt rendition of Chaap Tilak, one of the most beloved compositions in the Sufi Qawwali tradition. Recorded live at the iconic Union Chapel in London, this performance captures the essence of devotion, love, and surrender. Chaap Tilak Sab Chheeni, written by the revered Sufi poet Hazrat Amir Khusrau, poetically expresses the mystical union between the seeker and the Divine, with verses such as: "You have stripped away my identity with just a glance, beloved; Everything now belongs to you, for my essence dissolves in your love." This extraordinary evening of devotional music was hosted by Qalandar Arts and the Sama School of Music, featuring the legendary Ustad Dildar Hussain on harmonium and vocals. As a long-time companion of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The evening also featured the virtuoso sarangi artistry of Nabeel Khan, a 9th-generation maestro of this timeless instrument.
