Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town: Quick recap.

HILTONS: Welcome to our Eurotrip 2024! We’ve been “Hilton loyal” for years now, traveling all over the US. But this summer we’re in Europe! We’ll be staying in about 30 properties over 4 months so we’re doing a quick recap of each. We had a great 4 night stay in Bucharest. Room: We had a king deluxe room with city view. It was spacious, clean. All the Hilton standard amenities. Good AC and blackout curtains. Coffee/Tea: Kettle and espresso maker provided in room. Breakfast: Great. Excellent selection. Never felt over crowded. GF options. Had dinner here as well. Also great. Gym: Standard. Occasionally busy in morning. Laundry: Yes! And it’s free. Location: Excellent. Obviously right in old town. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Noise: There is music from surrounding bars at night but nothing that kept us from sleeping. (6th floor room) Staff: excellent. Parking: There is a garage (University underground) within walking distance. It’s about 60lei/night. If you download app first it’s 40lei, but we couldn’t due to location (US) restrictions. Other: 1 of the 2 elevators was out of order. (June 2024) If you’re visiting soon be prepared for waits or to take stairs.
