This year's theme is 'Changing the Narrative on Suicide', with a call to action to 'Start the Conversation'. It invites all of us to think differently about suicide, not as a taboo topic or private struggle, but as something we can talk about openly, safely and compassionately. We believe suicide is preventable, and that no young person should ever feel like they have to face it alone. But to truly prevent suicide, we need to create a society that listens, learns and leads with hope.
