Last year, the Digital Poverty Alliance introduced the UK Digital Inclusion Awards to recognise organisations that had moved beyond commitment and into delivery. This webinar brought those organisations together to reflect on what had followed. On Wednesday 25 February, from 12 to 1pm, the Digital Poverty Alliance hosted a panel discussion with the inaugural award recipients, focusing on motivation, momentum, and how digital inclusion was being carried forward within organisations once recognition had been received. The discussion focused on the organisations behind the awards and the people leading this work. Panellists explored why digital inclusion had become a priority in their organisations, what had shaped their early decisions, and how that commitment had developed over time. The emphasis was practical, looking at the choices, trade-offs, and pressures involved in embedding digital inclusion into established ways of working.
