THIS VIDEO IS A RECONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING SITUATION IN FLIGHT: 21-JAN-2024. A China Airlines Boeing 777-300ER (B77W), registration B-18052, performing flight CAL12 / CI12 from Taipei Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (Taiwan) to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport, NY (USA) after landing on runway 31 right was instructed to turn left on taxiway WW. The airplane turned left and stopped without report (based on data from flight tracking services they didn’t exit the runway). Meanwhile an Air France Boeing 777-300ER (B77W), registration F-GSQA, flight AFR008 / AF8 from Paris Charles de Gaulle/Roissy Airport (France) to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport, NY (USA) was about to land on runway 31 right. The air traffic controller noticed the problem and instructed Air France to go around. Based on data from open sources the aircraft went around over the threshold of the runway, from altitude about 70-100 feet. HOW I DO VIDEOS: 1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation. 2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need. 3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight. 4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft. 5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route. 6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation). 7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.
