On this episode of Artist Spotlight, Vicki Landon talks with Dan Hess, chief curator of the Art & History Museums of Maitland about the art in the chambers titled, “One Soul, Two Bodies: Que Throm and Cicero Greathouse and the Rise of the Orlando Art Scene." According to Hess, “Spanning careers as prolific artists, world travelers, and devoted arts advocates, Que Throm and Cicero Greathouse had a profound impact on Central Florida’s cultural landscape. Their diverse and evocative work bears witness to lives well-traveled. From the bustling, fragrant markets of Morocco to the serene peaks of Nepal, their journeys across five continents infused their art with a global perspective, bridging cultures and inviting viewers to explore the world through their eyes. As a couple, they mentored young artists and served their community, including in key roles at A&H, both as artists and as philanthropists. And, they never stopped creating, finding inspiration in their travels, their community, and each other.” "One Soul, Two Bodies" will be on display in the Orange County Administration Center Chambers Gallery now through June 3, 2026. The Administration Center is open 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for holidays. For more information visit, www.ocfl.net/arts.
