Grinding out 10 fish actually made me pretty confident in at least the pathing to take, and sideboost is just such a fast setup now that you could have a not very good sideboost and still have massive time save. Despite these time saves this could've been a 11:1x if I didn't fail the trick at the entrance to mortar that saves like ONE SECOND. I say it in the vid but I'm never doing that again. With these strats I think a 10:xx could be possible, but there also was this sideboost to mortar that was found that could save 40+ seconds (hard but also requires a sideboost to the turn in bucket so it's very hard but it just saves so much that you can fail it multiple times and still save time over what's done in this vid), there also was a 6 sec time save found in upper garden that can be implemented pretty easily. So with all that being said this can be so much better, but I've been wanting to run EYS pretty bad, so I think I'll try that again for now and come back later. FAQ:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. How do you get the jump mid-air? / How are you double jumping? / What's a coyote? It's a glitch called a "coyote". If you enter the air in a way that doesn't involve jumping, and you press jump right after going into a spin while mid-air, then the game gives you another jump. Entering a vine without jumping and jumping off the vine does not count as jumping. We often will do this after a trick called a super, which is that big jump off the shredders that's used multiple times in the run. 2. How do you get that big jump off the shredder? / What's a super? That's called a super. Basically if you jump at the same time you're letting go of the shredder, then it'll give you that big jump. Also depends on the terrain, an upward slope is best. If you look at my input viewer, you'll see I press R when doing that trick, R is my button to let go of the shredder. 3. How are you getting that huge launch on the water? / What's a skyeboost? That's called a skyeboost, it got patched in version 1.2 (I'm playing on 1.1 for this reason). Basically you jump off a lilypad and do two full jumps off the water, then when you run out of speed on the water, the game just launches you. I don't completely know the reason why this happens but the game just thinks you're still on the lilypad, so touching a lilypad is 100% required when doing this trick, and smaller lilypads are better for the trick. 4.
