The independence we got in 1947, was not a cakewalk. In addition to millions, who fought bravely on the field, to attain this goal, there are millions who lost everything, not fighting against British, but the conditions, created by a bunch of self centered few. Sitting in closed rooms, they drew lines on the map of Bharat and split it into Pakistan and Hindustan, without considering the fact that how many would loose their homes, families, land, livelihood, lives and even their identities. The careless and mishandled procedures, along with mischiefs and conspiracies led to the largest man made massacre of the century.
