Summer 24 was spent exploring parts of Scotland. This video is a snapshot of some of the many memories from an unforgettable trip. In this video we visit Ruthven Barracks where the Jacobites gathered after the Battle of Culloden , Packhorse Bridge at Carrbridge, take a trip on Loch Ness to look for the Loch Ness Monster, have a swing at Fairy Glenn Falls, explore Castle Sinclair Girnagoe, take a walk to Duncansby Stacks, twirl around the signpost at John O'Groats, see the most Northerly Point on British Mainland Dunnet Head. Take the Pentland Ferry to Orkney, drive over the Churchill Barriers, see the Standing Stones of Stenness, Ring of Brodgar, explore Earls Palace at Birsay, walk the causeway to Brough of Birsay. Stare in amazement at the Italian Chapel, visit St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall. Step back in time 5000 years as we visit Skara Brae, visit Kitchener Memorial and watch the 1000's of seabirds at Marwick Head. Stop off at a funny signpost and touch history at the Broch of Gurness before taking a paddle im the sea at Scapa Beach. Take the Northlink ferry back to the mainland, watch the sunset in Nairn, visit Crovie, find a cave, see the amazing Bow Fiddle Rock at Portknockie, Jo cries happy tears as we see a few pods of dolphins walking back to Cullen. Stop off at The Watchers viewpoint crossing over the Cairngorm National Park, watch a duck race in Ballater. Take a walk along the River Dee at Aboyne and have a paddle. Find Dess waterfall and visit a fairytale castle NTS Craigievar Castle. Joanne braves a suspension bridge at Cambus o'May. Visit NTS Falkland Palace and step onto the oldest Royal tennis court in the world where Mary Queen of Scots once played. Visit the Outlander location of Old Inverness at Falkland. Let Boo run around at St Andrews beach. Walk in the footsteps of William Wallace as we find Kinclaven Castle in Perthshire, meet some very friendly horses before spending our last evening in Scotland walking along the River Tay.
