Jesus doesn’t just save us and leave us alone, He gives us His Holy Spirit to be participants in the rescue and redemption of mankind. He tells us that we are the Salt of the Earth, preserving God’s creation. We are the Light of the World, bringing Light to the darkest places. We are the Children of God, and we are here to usher in the Kingdom of Heaven. We you come to realize this profound truth, that’s when a true relationship with Christ begins. God didn’t create just so we could exist in His Perfect Paradise, He made us to help grow the New Garden of Eden. God had always shown that He desires to share His Love and Creation. When you think that living in a Christian is just following rules in a rulebook, you miss out on the meaning of life. He created us for so much more than we could possibly imagine, and the revelation of that purpose is the gift that keeps on giving. (‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭8‬) “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” (‭‭John‬ ‭12‬:‭24‬-‭26‬) “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.
