Well we went in my dads boat and shot 20 nylon drift herring nets. There had been some bad weather for the last couple of weeks, so we couldnt go, and we had a feeling the spring run of fish may have turned up. The fish finder showed plenty of herring, but were they the small herring which were coming through all winter, or were they proper herring? Well luckily they were good herring, and we had a lovely amount. Its was nice to finally get loads of boxes of fish, after the worst winter herring fishing in years!
