Deux ans et demi après la sortie de leur premier EP “Transonic Delta” (sur le label Transonic), la vocaliste-performeuse Maja Jantar (NL/PL) et le créateur sonore Paradise Now (BE/FR) se retrouvent cette fois au couvent d’Hautrage (en région montoise) nouvellement investi par Transcultures pour y installer son Transonic Lab (avec la complicité de l’artiste sonore et visuel Alain Wergifosse). Ensemble ils ont continué à enregistrer du matériel partant tantôt d’improvisations vocales, guitaristiques, électroniques… ou de paysages sonores, tantôt de textes poétiques multilingues pour finaliser leur premier album dont la sortie est prévue en automne 2024. D’autre part, Maja Jantar également pris des sources visuelles pour monter des images voyageuses associées à celles prises dans la campagne finlandaise là où elle est maintenant installée et bientôt à d’autres capturées Bastia (Corse) à l’occasion du festival Zone Libre pour y créer leur nouvelle performance audio-visuelle du duo, “Travelling Souls”. http://transcultures.be/2024/01/01/tr... https://transonic-records.bandcamp.co...
