Committed: "Committed" means being dedicated to a cause, person, or action, showing loyalty and effort. Concerned: Means to give our time, attention, or effort to a particular subject, issue, or activity. It can sometimes mean to be anxious or uneasy. 1 Peter 5: 6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of Elohiym, that He may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. The ultimate commitment is loving Yahuah with all heart, soul, and strength. It is a proactive, daily, and often sacrificial choice. Concern, or love, is not just emotional but functional. It involves serving, showing kindness, and prioritizing the well-being of others. Commitment to Truth: Yahusha emphasizes integrity in commitments, instructing followers to simply say "yes" or "no" and keep our word. The Cost of Discipleship: Following Yahusha involves "taking up our cross daily," which may mean prioritizing Him over family or personal comfort. Psalms 37: 3-5 Trust in Yahuah, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in Yahuah: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto Yahuah; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Yah's Commitment to Us: Psalms 53:1-2 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no Elohiym. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. 2 Yahuah looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek Elohiym. Proactive faith relies on principles and values, while reactive faith is driven by emotions and circumstances. Daily Discipline: Active faith is a lifestyle, not just a backup plan. It involves daily, intentional actions such as prayer, fellowship, and applying Yahuah's word to life's challenges. Taking Initiative: Instead of waiting for circumstances to improve, a proactive approach means acting on Yahuah's promises in advance. It involves taking "bold steps" and trusting Yahuah with the outcome. Overcoming Challenges: Active faith allows one to navigate difficult decisions with trust that Yahuah's grace is sufficient. It is described as a "forceful advancement" and not staying on the sidelines. Benefits of Active Faith: Peace and Purpose: Proactive habits lead to a life of purpose and peace. Control over Destiny: By acting based on faith rather than reacting to situations, believers can avoid unnecessary battles and find peace and joy. Spiritual Growth: Active faith is a way to mature, as it involves exercising faith daily and trusting Yahuah. Pray Before Acting: Initiate conversations with prayer to ensure actions are guided by Yah rather than personal emotions. Listen Actively: Demonstrate care by listening to others. Study the Word: Use scripture as a guide to act on in advance of situations. Take Bold Steps: Take the first step without needing to see the entire path. Maintain Consistency: Build a foundation of prayer and intentional action in all areas of life. We must surrender our control that we might fully commit to the Father's Will. This act of faith enables us to rely on His wisdom over our own, fostering peace, and trusting His timing, even in uncertain situations. It requires 100% devotion, allowing Him to guide decisions and fulfill His purposes in our lives. This is important to practice daily, not just waiting for Yah to show Himself faithful. It is knowing that He is Who He says He is. For it is impossible to please Him without faith. It is a daily decision to trust in His grace and power rather than personal strength, often described as "letting go and letting God".
