Today I’m creating a dragonfly sculpture to decorate one of my plant pots - and it turned into quite the journey. I tried Darwin extra light for the first time, experimented with more realistic details and battled with those wings more times than I’d like to admit. The lines were too thick, the paint smudged and in the end I pulled out the gold leaf to save them.
