In the end, my pets got to enjoy catnip (yes this is safe for cats and there is no evidence that catnip is harmful like many think), Green leaf lettuce, Calendula and Cornflower (these 3 completely safe for hamsters and rabbits!). before growing plants for your pets to eat make sure to research that they are completely safe as some plants are not!
