Woodworkers! Today we started a NEW series focusing on annual/semi-annual TOOL MAINTENANCE dubbed "Spring Tuning" In PART 1 we work on our RIGID JP06101 6" floor jointer. We take care of some surface rust, apply finishing paste wax to protect the cast iron bed, replace the 3 straight knife blades and finish by fine-tuning the jointer by making adjustments to the fence, the blade heights, etc. I'll link affiliate links below to all of the tools used in this video.
