Dedication to Marjory Stoneman Douglas fallen angel Carmen Schentrup: 2 Piano solos Kurzweil Forte

Carmen Schentrup was a wonderful angel and talented piano player from Parland, FL, who we knew through piano lessons and playing with her at piano recitals. Carmen, along with 16 other souls, was taken from us too soon during the Valentines Day 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. Two months later on April 19, 2018, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Orchestra, who Carmen had performed with, played their concert and dedicated it to to Carmen, performing it at the big amphitheater at ArtsPark at Young Circle, in Hollywood, FL. This video shows 2 of the piano solos played that night: 1) "Not Just Another Angel", performed and composed by my daughter Jenna, who wrote this song just for Carmen. They were friends through piano lessons. Jenna is playing on our new Kurzweil Forte Keyboard and stage piano. 2) "Prelude No. 23" composed by Dustin O'Halloran, and performed by Amanda, a Stoneman Douglas High School survivor. It was an inspiring evening of music to mend your soul and remember to always be MSD Strong! #msdstrong
