Quinacridone Magenta watercolor, one name many pigments: PR122, PR202, PV42 and PV19.

Hello friends! I’m Elisabetta, an Italian watercolor artist with a passion and a curiosity for art supplies and pigments. Today we are starting a new watercolor journey with Quinacridone Magenta, a beautiful, transparent, lightfast colour in the wonderful Quinacridone family of pigments. Quinacridone Magenta is manufactured and marketed mainly with two pigments. PR202 and PR122, but also PV42 and PV19....it was very confusing for me so I tried to make it clear for you with this video. I will also try, as usual, some mixes just to make sure how the different pigments behave.
