Achariya World Class Education with Pondicherry Tourism Department celebrated 12.12.12. in the name and fame of World Happiness Submit which also involves 6 world records. The participants are Students, Staff and Parents of Achariya family with a huge mass of 12,000 people in numbers. The Authorities to judge the record were Elite World Records UK Private Limited, Limca Book of Records, Asian Records Academy, India Records Academy, Tamilan Book of Records. Venue: School Ground, Achariya Siksha Mandir, VIllianur, Puducherry. Programme timing- 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM. World Record Attempts 1. Largest congregation for group meditation: Over 12,000 students of Achariya Group of Institutions will meditate together for a duration of twelve minutes and twelve seconds. The date of the record attempt, 12.12.12 gives it an even greater significance. Also this record would underscore the importance of meditation for the larger human good. 2. Largest group of people laughing together: Even at a time when newer and unheard of diseases threaten mankind, there is a widely prevalent and scientifically proven belief that "laughter is the best medicine". This record attempt, wherein the twelve thousand students of Achariya will laugh out loud, will remind the world about this inexpensive medicine available with all of us. 3. Largest group of people exchanging flowers: This record attempt would be the largest group of people, our twelve thousand students, exchanging flowers to each other. This is to develop a sense of camaraderie among the students, to love and respect fellow human beings so that the world would be a better place to live in. 4. Largest group of people tying friendship band to each other: 'Friendship' is one magical word that can transform this strife torn world of today into a sane and serene world of peaceful co-existence. This world record attempt is to promote friendship across national, regional, castes, linguistic, gender, religious and similar other boundaries that man has defined for himself. 5. Largest group of people blowing white balloons: White is a symbol of peace and purity. As a matter of promoting peace through purity of thoughts, this world record attempt has over twelve thousand students of Achariya blowing white balloons. 6. Largest group of people twirling white balloons in the air: In this attempt, over twelve thousand students of Achariya group of institutions will twirl white balloons as an appeal to the world to forget their differences and work together for world peace.
