Heres the method I use. I make bespoke cutting jig / mitre. I check first what size is the coving/cornice and meassure how many millimeters are on ceiling and how many mm on wall and than i make that bespoke cutting jig. once this is set youre gona get nice joints - inner joints and outside joints. In this video i used silicon on light weight covings and also plasterboards adhesive on other job where heavier gypsum coving was fitted. #coving #install #cornice Also what i do is to do PVA first in the corner on ceiling and walls just to make sure its gona grip properly.
