The ashes of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were immersed at Astha Ghat, Majnu ka Tila Gurdwara, in Delhi, on December 29th at 10 am. He was cremated with full state honors on December 28, 2024, in the presence of top Indian and international dignitaries. President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid their respects, along with Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Mauritius Foreign Minister Dhananjay R. Ramful.
