Masquerade-Guardian Angel

Vota la voce was an annual music competition and festival, devised by Gigi Vesigna in 1973 and released in twenty-seven editions until 2000, with the exception of 1999, which awarded prizes. It was a kind of popular program of the seventies, eighties and nineties, organized annually by the weekly Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni , of which Vesigna was the director. By sending special postcards published by the magazine, readers selected the winning singers in each category, each winner receiving a Telegatto trophy. Some of the voting cards received were drawn at random and the broadcasters were awarded prizes such as cameras, video cameras, dictaphones, portable radios, CDs: the final prizes were a 125cc Gilera motorcycle and an Alfa Romeo Alfasud car. From the mid-1980s, the awards ceremony was broadcast on Mediaset. Masquerade performed with the song Guardian Angel in the twelfth edition of the program program ,broadcast on Canale 5 from Piazza Maggiore in Bologna (27 and 30 September 1984), Claudio Cecchetto i Isabella Ferrari were hosts then. #masquerade #guardianangel #drafideutscher #1984 #80smusik
