This video demonstrates Bescutter’s most popular 2000-watt continuous laser cleaner, removing rust from a segmented industrial roll measuring approximately five inches in diameter and sixteen feet in length. Laser cleaning significantly reduced the manual abrasive pad or wire brush method from 2.5 hours to 15 minutes. Additionally, the laser cleaning penetrated the corners thoroughly whereas the abrasive pads were difficult to achieve the same results. The laser cleaning technique was also cleaner with only residual vacuuming of the removed rust particles versus abrasive pad dust and particles in the work area. The 2000-watt model is very effective for the removal of rust, adhesives, powder coating and paint, achieving removal rates of 6 to 10 square feet per minute. All models are equipped with an integrated trigger blow-off nozzle to remove spent-dust from the workpiece target area and enhance the focus of the laser beam onto the workpiece.
