What Happened To Air Tools?

I started working as a professional technician in the early 90’s. At that time air tools ruled. My 1/4” air ratchet was my best friend that I used on just about every job. Now it hardly leaves the tool box. The reason, I’d rather ditch the air hose and use an electric tool instead. Do you also see this trend?
