In this wire art video, I'll show through time lapse, how I create my windswept, wire tree sculpture. This particular wire sculpture, was much larger than my normal, and took so much time, I had to shorten the video. I'll do a tutorial on a much smaller tree, in the near future. Items used: 20 gauge Gold toned wire 20 gauge brown toned wire. 50 strands of each color, cut 24' in length. (Total 100, 24 inch strands) I selected a large base for this wire sculpture, a wood slice, and screwed driftwood pieces into it for stability.
